There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. The duration of each project varies because no two projects are identical. However, deadlines are important, so turnaround times will be discussed and agreed upon before the start of the project, and they will always be met.

Revisions

Sometimes in life, good is good enough, but not this time!

I’m here to help you get your message out there. Your copy should only be filled with words you love and words that ignite others. We'll work to get it just right, even if this means ten revisions (it never does).

I take time to deeply understand your brand, its mission, its tone of voice and its ideal customers before I write a word. This helps me to produce work you love, the first time.

* if the project brief changes significantly these revisions will be classed as an add-on or a new project, and will be discussed before any new work is started.

Pricing and how things work

As much as we probably both wish it wasn't so, price is an important factor for most business owners. But when it comes to copywriting there simply isn't a cut-and-dry answer.

Every project is unique because every brand is unique.

But please don't let what may look like my lack of transparency put you off, I'm not here to highball you!

When I work with someone, it's incredibly important to me that we both feel like we're winning. If not, our working relationship will feel strained from the get-go. If our ideas on budget don't align, that's fine, we simply aren't the right match. And c'est la vie.

When it comes to pricing, I aim to strike a balance between working with businesses where I can make a real impact (often smaller businesses) and receiving fair payment for my quality work. So, I’ll always be fair but I’ll never be cheap.

Getting started:
  1. We’ll start things off with a free discovery call to discuss your project, your goals, preferences, and budget.

  2. From there, I'll whip up a personalised quote and proposed project plan.

  3. If we agree to work together, I'll ask for 50% of the project fee to be paid up-front.

  4. Next, I'll either get started on the project if the brief is pretty straightforward or if it's a more detailed project we'll have a kick-off call to explore the specifics.

  5. Depending on the project, there'll be some back and forth to make sure everything is going to plan.

  6. On or before the first deadline, I'll send the first version for your review. And you'll send back any revision notes you have.

  7. Next, I'll send the second version for your review, you'll do a happy dance when you see it (hopefully, or we go back to step 6).

  8. Finally, I'll send you the invoice for the remaining balance, and you'll pay on time (pretty please!).

I’m a fan of building lasting relationships because one piece of copy can be good but imagine what happens when there's long-term thinking behind a copy and content strategy. So you'll find the best value if you’re looking for regular copywriting work.
